Everyone needs a 2 year old!

I've decided everyone needs a 2 year old!  You can barrow mine if you don't have one!!  Hee Hee!  I had to dedicate a post to Lane, my one and only almost 2 year old.  He is so full of It!  The picture above is how he was posing for a Christmas card photo.  I was trying to get some cute individual pictures of each of the kids...this was his pose. What a Goof! Next, I have had a really busy week getting my house ready for the Home Show.  Thank goodness it is  now over because it was a lot of work.  Lane was such a helper! He first helped by getting all the cereal boxes off the shelf and then sitting on them.  Crushed cereal anyone?  See the picture below for his proud face.
I sometimes put him in the tub, just to contain him to a small area.  He loves pouring water on his head.  Shortly after I took these pictures he started dumping water all over the bathroom floor.  Once again, what a Helper!

Next he decided to help organize my bathroom vanity closet.  He took out lotions, hairspray, deodorant, and organized them all across my bathroom floor.  The only problem, he never put them back in the vanity-
I spend way too much time cleaning up after this kid!  It is a good thing he has a cute smile!
I actually really enjoy Lane to death.  Life wouldn't be the same without him.  Although he keeps me very tired, he is my sunshine!  Here's to you Lane!

Oh, how I can relate to that!! I feel like all I do is follow Max around and clean up the devastation that surrounds him. He doesn't ever play with his toys, why would he, playing in the Q-tips and toilet paper is much more fun. Lane is so adorable, it's hard to get mad at that face I'm sure!

Such a fun post!! I love two years olds. They are so much fun. Joe and I often say that a two year old is either being really cute or really naughty. There is no middle!! But it is crazy how fast time goes by. I guess we enjoy it while we can!! Lane is sure a darling boy. He sounds like he loves keeping his mom busy!!

Even though Lane had stuff out of the cupboards, it was in an organized fashion. The cereal boxes were in a pattern and the lotion bottles were up and in a line. He must be more your kid than Andy's. :)
Lane is a sweetie.

Oh, Robyn...I know that when you are cleaning up after Lane, time and time again, you think they will never get out of this phase..but they do and then before you know it they are having families of their own...I swear it wasn't all that long ago that my kids were in the two's era..it all happens so damn fast. The days that I have Max are adventuresome, to say the least, but when he looks up at me with that toothy grin...it just gives me such a huge lift...I want to kiss his little face off...these times are just the best....rock on..Jackie

That is so funny how he goes from room to room. He reminds me of Jake. Jake couldn't sleep until his matchbox cars were all in a row. Your kids are cute!

That is so funny. I would be grateful that the cereal is still in the boxes and the lotion is still in the bottles. If it were Kenyon they would not be.
