Easter Traditions Live On!

Easter is one of our most favorite times of year. Egg coloring, rolling eggs at the sand dunes, egg hunts, picnic at the Plum Patch, and being with family. Our Easter Traditions are strong and we love them!!

Gram and Gramps joined us for egg coloring. I think we colored 90 eggs!! It was a vinegar and egg dye party!

Egg hunt at the park.....freezing cold!

Griff picked up one sucker, got it in his mouth, sat down, and was happy the rest of the time. Andy picked up a few extra pieces of candy for himself.

The Sand Dunes! Once again.....freezing cold! But it did not stop us from having fun.

Chasing eggs down the hill....

Griffin throwing eggs down the hill....

Then he decided to try rolling them. He was very focused.

Riding the "Sand Surfing Belt!"

Lane's "proud face" as he flies a kite!

Now a look of concentration.....

Uncle Karl trying to fly a kite.....notice how his kite string is more horizontal than vertical. Huh, interesting....

This is another way we "hunt" for eggs.

See all those colored eggs set up on the hill? They make great targets.

On Sunday, the Easter Bunny left giant foam airplanes for the kids.

After church we headed out to the Plum Patch for our traditional Easter Celebration. Good food, egg hunts, 4 wheeler riding, more gun shooting, and a competitive softball game. I was way too busy having fun to take many photos.

Maddie and Keyera taking inventory of their candy and money!

This photos makes me laugh. Monet and Griffin pondering life....I guess!

Grandma Sandra with the grand kids looking through Easter Eggs.
Happy Spring! Let's hope the weather soon cooperates!
