I have a little cowboy at my house. His name is Lane. Everyday he wears cowboy boots, jeans, a belt, plaid shirt, and his cowboy hat.
Lane had the privilege of going out to Spring City to Andy's sister's house for a day. If you are a cowboy, this is the house you want to visit. Aunt TaKesha showed him a good cowboy time. He got to ride a REAL Shetland pony! He was in heaven!
I love this picture. Lane is leading his cousin Andee around on the pony. I can just tell that he feels like a totally awesome dude!
Then it was Lane's turn to ride....one handed and all!
My dad calls him "Bronco Lane." He really thinks he is going to ride in a rodeo someday. As his mother, I am not too excited about that. I think I will just keep him at the "Mutton Bustin" level.
He also plays rodeo out in the yard. There is barrel racing, hide races, bronc riding, and Sally's favorite --- steer wrestling. Sally is the steer! It was snowing this day at the rodeo, but that didn't stop the show. It is a good thing he had his chaps on to keep his legs dry.
Sally looks real excited, doesn't she?

Most adorable thing I have ever seen!! Can he teach Jack to be a cowboy too? It needs to happen so I can see him in all the cowboy gear!
