So Madison turns 12 this summer...how can it be?
Once she turns 12 she enters the Young Women's program in our church.
Tonight was a Fireside for all of the youth.
They introduced the new theme for the year 2012.
Since Andy and I both work with the youth we needed to attend.
We took Madison with us since she will be joining the youth soon.
The theme is:
"Arise and Shine Forth, that thy light may be a standard for the nations"
As part of the fireside they sent all of us outside to release these beautiful paper lanterns into the dark night sky. It was awesome. So glad Maddie was there to experience it.
She has a beautiful light inside of her...it shows through her actions.
These lanterns were a perfect visual example of the light these youth have to share.
