Signs of Spring

Signs of Spring include.....

Piano recitals and Preschool Graduations!

Every three years of earning a Superior rating in the local Piano Festival, the participants receive a "Gold Cup."  This was the year that Alex earned his first Gold Cup, and Madison earned her second.  They like to be rewarded for their efforts!

Then, it is time for Mr. Lane to graduate from his days at the Crayon Academy and move into Kindergarten this Fall!   He has loved preschool but boy is he excited to get to go to school with Alex.

The graduate made his way down the aisle.  "LANE KEVIN COX!"

The graduating class performed a "Rock Song" in their shades with guitars.

Then he was awarded his diploma.  He accepted with such grace.  His teacher talked about his cool cowboy boots, how nice he is, how hard he works in school, and then told everyone that there is a girl in the class who "stalks" him.   She has a crush on Lane and tries to kiss  him all time!!  Then he got embarrassed!  But it was cute!

I'm sure glad Kindergarten is only a half day long.  I would miss this guy.  He really is one of my best friends!  I love  hanging out with him.....we bake, do art projects, go for bike rides, cuddle on the couch, read books, go to Walmart, eat at Subway, and play with Griffin! He is a love!
