Well, it finally happened....Andy got him a new yellow Lab. A lady that Andy has been doing some work for found this dog at the grocery store. It was lost. She tried for 2 weeks to find the owner. No one ever claimed the dog. So, now the dog is OURS! I wasn't too sure about the idea. We already have a little Cocker Spaniel. But then I watched Andy and this dog interact and it was so sweet. They adore each other! We named her Sally. She isn't a pup so that is kind of nice...she is past all the biting and destroying phase. She will sit, stay, and loves to play fetch. I'm glad we could give Sally a home...I just have to come to terms with the fact I will never have a nice tidy yard. :(
Andy takes Sally to work with him every day. They look so content cruising around together. He took the boys for a ride with Sally too. She just lies across their laps enjoying all the attention.
Andy takes her for a nightly walk. He thinks she is very smart. She is learning how to behave very quickly. He really can't wait to take her hunting for birds. He is excited to have a hunting buddy. It looks like Sally is smiling in the photo below. She seriously is so happy to be with Andy...very cute!

That is so great! Chad would love a dog and so would my kids but i like you havent come to terms with all that it entails, yet. i know its inevitable. so far i have held off the pack by telling them that as soon as everyone can poop on their, own we will think about a dog.
