This one is dedicated to my Dad!

Here's to you Dad!  My Dad just had a birthday on Tuesday.  We had dinner, cake, and ice cream at my house to celebrate.  We then opened a few presents and played some good ole' family games.  It was a good time - nothing fancy, but just some quality time with family.  We feel so lucky to live 5 blocks away from my parents....I'm just not sure if they feel the same :)

My Dad is such a "Fun Lover!"  He always wants in on the action...

We went sledding  last week and he was right there -- on the runner sleigh heading down the old dump road.  Him and Alex went full speed ahead all the way down!!
Those of you that know my Dad, know that where ever he is, Spike is there also. Dad was determined to take Spike for a ride down on the toboggan.  Spike lasted about 2 seconds and bailed off to run ....see next two photos.  (Wise decision Spike!)

I love that last photo..... such a look of concentration, hand out for balance, his hat blew off from the acceleration, and of course Spike right by his side!  

What can I say?  He has it all going on!
