An Autumn Hike

We spent another beautiful Fall weekend in the mountains.  We just can't seem to get enough.  We went for a great hike and admired the colored leaves.  Too bad I didn't have a decent camera.  My good digital camera broke and I forgot my back-up.  So, these photos were all taken with my phone.  Not the best of quality, but I guess they are better than nothing.

Lane got a little tired, so AJ offered to carry him.  I had to snap a picture of this brotherly love.

Andy took his chainsaw to clear away fallen trees.  He is going to tackle the trail on his mountain bike next year!

Sally and Lane.  Lane was holding a stick in his hand.  Sally was on alert hoping Lane was going to throw it for her to fetch!

It was a great hiking trail...open meadows and then patches of Aspen trees mixed in with Pines.  The sun was hitting the yellow leaves just right and reminded the kids of "golden tokens like the ones you get at Chucky Cheese's".  OK, whatever!  :)
Happy Fall!
