October!

October means....jack-0-lanterns, witches, ghosts, candy, and costumes.  BUT, it also means....BASEBALL PLAYOFFS!  The Red Sox have made it to the playoffs and it is looking to be an exciting month in baseball!  My Dad gave the kids these Halloween Boston  hats.  I had them bow their heads so you could see the orange out-lined "B" and  the cool jack-o-lantern motif.  They are ready to root, root, root for the Red Sox!

Please join the Red Sox Nation and help us cheer the Red Sox on to a World Series Victory! (Notice: I am a highly optimistic person!)

Last of all, I finished up my substitute teaching.  One of the students  gave me this cute rice crispy cake covered with fondant.  I have become somewhat attached to those little kiddos.  It was kind of hard to leave, but yet it felt good to be finished.  Now, on to the next adventure.
