It seems like things have finally slowed down around here. The summer has been super fun, but also super busy...Lots of baseball, July celebrations, over night trips, family get togethers, and birthday parties. Don't get me wrong, I love all of those things, but sometimes I just want to be home and let the kids play dress-ups, pirates, cars, Twister, and watch movies with popcorn. This week has been perfect!
Today it rained! Big time! The kids found themselves out in the middle of some rain puddles after the big storm. They made sure to wear their rain boots....why? I don't know. As you can see the boots didn't do a whole lot of good. They pretty much filled them with water!
AJ felt the need to make a bigger splash... so he jumped off some boulders. You can barely see him in the middle of his "Splash!" He was pretty satisfied after he realized muddy water was dripping from his face!
After their puddle fun, they stripped down in the garage and headed right for a warm shower!

Wow. Looks like we missed out on some good rain! Spring city barely got any of that. We only got a little sprinkle.

Your such a good mom. I would be worried about ruining clothes. I need to relax a bit. Way to go!
