Carving of the Pumpkins

We got down right busy carving pumpkins on Monday night.  Sandra, Karl, Colette, and their kids, along with my mom and dad all joined us for the festivities.  I must say that Karl and Colette brought their creativity and competitive spirits.  It was fun to see how each pumpkin turned out!

Grandpa John helped create the tall jack-o-lantern on the right, Alex and Andy carved the pirate skull, next is Lane's little pumpkin face, the bat belongs to Maddie, and the neat looking cat on the end is Sandra's  masterpiece.  (Karl and Colette were still working on theirs!)

While most of us were carving, Grandma Barb entertained these two little munchkins...Jaydee and Lane!

Here are all of them together.  It is kind of hard to tell because my picture is blurry, but Colette carved out the face of Dwight Schrute (character from "The Office.")  It was awesome!  Karl's is the double-decker pumpkin with a snake coiled around it.  Like I said, they were here to kick some pumpkin carving butt!

Pictured below are the Jack-o-lanterns and some other scary Halloween creatures!

Have a Happy Halloween week!

My goal was to get this posted before you....knew that wouldn't happen though. Thanks for letting us come over. It was fun. Next year we expect you and Andy to do you own. Then we will get judges!!

Good job everybody! Those are some cool pumpkins. We were going to come over but I had forgotten that Ellee had to go get a couple cavities filled. She has to be drugged cause she has crazy freeky anxiety in the chair. She sits and swats at Dr. Olson and tries to knock his tools out of his hands. lol Needless to say she is a little loo loo for a while following so we decided it best to stay home. Next year...
