Top 10...oh wait, 12 Halloween Pictures 2009

Well, Halloween has come and gone.  It was a big success around these parts.  I tried to pick the top 10 pictures that captured the festivities, but I ended up with 12!  These photos are in no particular order...just some Spooky Halloween moments!

#12.  The Cox Cousin Bunch!  Grandma Sandra held her annual Halloween party for all of the grand kids on Sat. Oct. 24th.

#11.  The Giant Spider Web!  Once again, Sandra created an amazing "spider web" in her basement.  Each grand kid had a certain color of yarn to follow until they reached their bag of candy.  It takes her 7 hours to create this web!!

#10.  "Touchy Feely" game!  Another game Sandra did was to have the kids reach in a box and try to guess what they were feeling.  The items felt gross and yucky...the kids giggles and pulled faces as they touched the unknown ickys!

#9.  The "Pretty" Pirate, The Cowboy, and The Skeleton Pirate!  Halloween costumes for 2009!

#8.  The Doughnut on a String!  During AJ's Kindergarten class party, they had to eat a donut off of a rope without using their hands.  AJ thought that was pretty fun... he really went after that thing!

#7.  Trick-or-treating (with Snow on the grass!)  The kids enjoyed some traditional trick-or-treating...eventhough it was a little bit chilly!

#6.  Black-eyed Sally!  Sally, our dog, even got in on the Halloween face painting!

#5.  The Giant Skull Web.  For the annual Manti City Trunk-or-Treat, Andy and the kids created a large web-like design using our portable awning.  It was accented with skulls.  They hauled this up to Main Street to pass out candy from behind it.
Madison was its first victim!

#4.  Ride em' Cowboy!

#3.  Skeleton, Skulls, and Skull Dog!

#2.  The Skull Web at the Trunk-or-Treat.  The Halloween crowd loved the webby mess complete with spooky music, lighted skulls, and candy!

#1.  The Propane Heater.  Andy brought a propane heater up to the Trunk-or-Treat activity and put it under our webby awning.  It was a hit!  After the kids finished their candy quest, they sat up next to the heater with Grandma and drank hot chocolate as Halloween night came to an end.
Happy Haunting to all, and to all a GOOD NIGHT!
